David Beall is in his fifth year as
the Director of the Sports Communications office and his second
since being named the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports
He is in charge of covering and promoting all 11 NCAA Division II sports at North Georgia competing in the Peach Belt Conference.
In the summer of 2008, Beall redesigned the North Georgia website, creating www.SaintsSports.com through the PrestoSports network, a site that he redeisgned once again and released to the public on August 15, 2010.
Beall has worked with Atlanta based Sports Radio 680 The Fan (ESPN radio) from 2004-2006. His duties included assisting in producing the popular afternoon talk show “Buck and Kincade” throughout the summer of 2004. During his tenure with ESPN radio he was also the stations game day reporter for the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Tech football and Basketball, and University of Georgia football. He conducted interviews with players and coaches during this time that aired daily on 680 The Fan.
Beall worked as the head sports writer at The Dahlonega Nugget during the summer of 2007, writing, editing, and designing the sports section on a weekly basis while covering the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and local high school sports.
A resident of Dahlonega, Ga., Beall graduated from North Georgia College & State University in the spring of 2008 with a degree in Business Administration. He was also a member of the Saints cross country team for three seasons and served as team captain for two years.
