Jeremiah Nichols enters his first full season as the graduate
assistant in the University of North Georgia Athletic Training
office after serving a half term last season in the post beginning
in January 2013. Prior to his time at UNG, Nichols served
Hickory Ridge Middle School in Harrisburg, N.C. as the school's
certified athletic trainer and health teacher.
At UNG, his sport responsibilities include women's soccer and softball.
Nichols is a graduate of Western Carolina University where he served as a student athletic trainer from 2007-2012. He gained valuable field experience covering Coastal Carolina University football, Clemson University football, all sports at Rabun Gap Nacoochee School and serving as the head student athletic trainer at WCU football games.
He carries professional memberships in the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA), Georgia Athletic Trainers' Association, Southeastern Athletic Trainers' Association and the Western Athletic Trainers' Association.
In the summer of 2013 Nichols served as the athletic trainer for the Atlanta Silverbacks women's professional soccer team.
