DAHLONEGA, GA – Tori Kostecki has been named the Moe’s Southwest Grill North Georgia Athlete of the Week after leading the Rifle team to a runner-up finish over the weekend at Wofford University announced this afternoon by the Sports Information office.
The Saints posted a total score of 2,223, finishing just short of the Citadel who captured the title with 2,231 points. North Georgia dominated the individual standings, holding three of the top five places as Tori Kostecki brought home top honors in the competition, posting 572 total points, her highest total of the season.
Kostecki’s highest marks of the season was nine points ahead of Stephen Kinn of the Citadel who was second with 563 points. The senior from Powder Springs, Ga., has led the Saints in two of their three matches this season, guiding the team to one victory and a pair of runner-up finishes.
North Georgia returns to action on Saturday, October 31, competing in another Southeastern Rifle Competition.
