Saints ranked #24 in latest NCAA Division II Poll

North Georgia 7th in latest Region Poll

DAHLONEGA, Ga - North Georgia College & State University is ranked #24 in the latest Collegiate Baseball Magazine NCAA Division II Poll. This marks the first time the Saints have been ranked since the second week of the season.

North Georgia is starting to be recognized nationally for their current streak of winning 14 of their last 16 games dating back to an 11-2 victory on April 1, against Anderson University. Since that win, the Saints have seen winning streaks of nine and five games and after receiving 12 votes in last week's poll jump into the mix at #24.

Only two other teams in the Peach Belt Conference are ranked above the Saints in the poll with Columbus State coming in at #8 and USC Aiken falling in at #9. North Georgia jumped Francis Marion who is tied for the 29th spot in the poll.

North Georgia also finds themselves as the #7 team in the NCAA Baseball South Atlantic Region Poll with a 15-13 record against in-region teams. Francis Marion is one spot ahead of the Saints in sixth, while Columbus State and USC Aiken are 2nd and 3rd respectively.

The Saints will host North Greenville tonight at the Baseball Complex before welcoming Emory University to town for a single game Saturday night.
