MILLEDGEVILLE, GA – After winning three straight, the North Georgia baseball team dropped game one on the road at Georgia College, 3-1 at John Kurtz Field.

The Saints (15-15, 5-11 PBC) out hit the Bobcats 11-6, but failed to convert with runners on base and ultimately dropped another PBC conference game.

Jacob Beauchamp (3-1) suffered his first loss of the season, going seven innings and allowing just one earned run. Beauchamp struck-out seven batters and surrendered six hits to the host Bobcats.

Three players finished with multi-hit games for the Saints, as Travis Naraine, Matthew Black and Jordan Erisman led the way for North Georgia offensively.

Naraine went a team-best 3-for-4 at the plate, but all hits came with no runners on base.

Erisman picked up the only RBI for North Georgia on the day, as he finished 2-for-3 at the dish.

North Georgia left a total of 14 runners on base, which ultimately gave them their 11th loss of the season in 16 games.

The Saints will look to win the series tomorrow afternoon when they play Georgia College in doubleheader action. First pitch scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
