Travel With Men's Basketball to UGA This November

DAHLONEGA, GA – Tickets and transportation are available through the North Georgia athletic department as the men’s basketball program travels to Athens, Ga., the first week in November to take on the Bulldogs of the University of Georgia.

Tickets to the game for the first-ever meeting between North Georgia and the University of Georgia on Friday, November 6, can be purchased for $30 through the North Georgia athletic department.

"We are very excited to have an opportunity to play the University of Georgia,” head coach Chris Faulkner said. “It is an opportunity for our players to compete against a very high level program that is not only recognized in our state, but also on a national level.  It is a great challenge for our team as we head into the 2009-2010 season"

The department will also be sending a charter bus through Daniels Charter that will depart campus November 6, at 4:00 p.m. Fans can now take advantage of an exclusive offer that includes a seat on the bus and a ticket to the game for just $50.00.

Fans wishing to take advantage of this offer can call Pam Stoffel at the North Georgia College & State University Foundation at 706-867-2873.

Tickets purchased through the North Georgia Foundation will be left at a designated Will Call at Stegeman Coliseum for pickup prior to the game.

This deal is only available to the first 56 individuals, so act quickly to see the Saints take on the Bulldogs at Stegeman Coliseum. The bus will depart the North Georgia campus at 4:00 p.m. and stop at The Varsity in Athens for dinner before arriving on the campus of Georgia approximately one hour prior to game time.
