Men's Soccer Team Reads to Lumpkin Elementary

DAHLONEGA, GA – The North Georgia men's soccer team continues to make a difference in the local community as the Saints made their fourth trip in as many years to read to the children of Lumpkin Country Elementary School.

Head coach Pat Parris and a handful of men's soccer players read to the children and shared with them the importance of reading and getting a great education.

"Our players always enjoy getting out into the community and interacting with the children," Parris said. "We always find ourselves smiling and laughing after this great experience."

The Saints finished the 2010 campaign with an 8-6-4 record overall while compiling a 2-4-2 mark in Peach Belt Conference action. Head coach Pat Parris guided his team to an unbeaten mark through the first seven games of the season, his longest unbeaten streak during his four-year tenure.
