AUGUSTA, GA – The Peach Belt released their Preseason All-Conference Team Tuesday afternoon and the North Georgia Saints men's soccer team was represented by team captains Juan Hurtado and Rade Tanaskovic.

Hurtado was honored this preseason after earning PBC Second-Team All-Conference last year. Hurtado is entering his junior season for Pat Parris and he will be the captain of the Saints midfield. Hurtado's midfield play will be key to the success of the Saints this upcoming season. Hurtado scored only two goals last season, but both carried great significance as they turned out to be game winners.

Tanaskovic is no surprise to any PBC All-Conference team for the Saints. This is the third straight season that Tanascovic is part of the Preseason All-Conference Team. The senior goalkeeper earned PBC First-Team All-Conference last season after shutting out opponents in six of his 14 games. With team captain Tanaskovic in goal the Saints should find themselves in every game this season. Having a talent like Rade between the posts is a definite asset to add to any team.

The Saints lost a key defender in All-Conference performer Ben Chedgy from last season, a void that will be a tough spot to fill. Coach Parris hopes his team will make a collective effort to keep the defensive intensity at a high level this season and that another talented back will immerge for the Saints.
