Men’s Soccer to Hold Open Trial for College-Aged Players

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – University of North Georgia men's soccer coach Pat Parris will hold an open trial on Thursday, Jan. 31 at the North Georgia soccer field. The trial will last from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

This particular trial will be open to just college students, especially those on the other three University of North Georgia campuses: Cumming, Gainesville and Oconee. If a player from another four-year university wishes to attend, he will need to also bring an official "Release" from that university's compliance officer stating that player is officially released from the program.

High school players cannot attend this particular trial due to the fact that they are currently in their championship season. The NCAA does not allow high school student-athletes to have trials during their championship high school season. Another trial will be announced at a later date prior to the season.

Items that will be required for the trial include: a copy of an insurance card (front and back), a physical form that has been completed within six months of the trial date as well as the necessary clothing/equipment.

To register for the trial, follow the link below and be sure to bring the completed form to the trial date.

In case of inclement weather, the make up date will be Friday, Feb. 1 at the same time and location.
