DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The nationally sixth-ranked University of North Georgia softball team's weekend schedule has been altered slightly due to the threat of inclement weather expected on Sunday in Pembroke, N.C.
North Georgia (26-7, 6-2 PBC) will still play at Francis Marion University (20-14, 5-5 PBC) on Saturday, Mar. 23 in a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader but Sunday's games at the University of North Carolina Pembroke have been pushed back a day to Monday, Mar. 25. The Saints and Braves (16-21, 2-6 PBC) will now face off in their PBC twinbill at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
No. 6 North Georgia split their last conference doubleheader, a Thursday, Mar. 21 showdown with Georgia College. The Bobcats (26-12, 10-4 PBC) took game-one 5-4 with the Saints coming out victorious 4-0 in the night's second game.
