Postseason awards stacking up for Marble

All-American Team to be announced in coming weeks.

DAHLONEGA, GA - North Georgia College & State University's Syretha Marble is starting to receive national recognition after her remarkable junior season that saw her reach the 1,000 club and 500 rebound class.

So far this off-season, Marble has been named to the PBC All-Tournament team, WBCA All-Region First-Team, and the Women's Basketball Daktronics All-Region First-Team. Marble is now a finalists for the All-American Team to be announced in the coming weeks.

Syretha Marble, a 5-9 junior forward from Canton, Ga., led the Peach Belt Conference in scoring at 20.6 points per game and pulled down 10.1 rebounds per game to average a double-double. She finished 12th in Division II in scoring and 24th in rebounding while adding five 30-point performances and 17 double-doubles throughout the season. She was a two-time PBC Player of the week and will head into her senior season with 1,355 points and 683 rebounds for her career.
