One Game Stands Between Lady Saints and PBC Title

EVANS, GA – A single victory stands between the North Georgia women's soccer team and a PBC Tournament Championship, as the Lady Saints will go head-to-head this afternoon with Columbus State for all the marbles.

Columbus State has lost just two regular season games in the last five years, and captured six straight PBC Championships, setting up a clash of a storied program and North Georgia's storied season.

The Lady Saints advanced to the PBC title game in penalty kicks over Georgia College in the opening round, while pulling off a convincing victory over 8th-ranked Armstrong Atlantic in the semifinals.

A victory would send North Georgia to their first-ever NCAA Tournament as the automatic qualifier from the league and give the Lady Saints the program's first 15-win season.

Follow all the action at SaintsSports.com as David Beall and Chad Jackson will provide play-by-play for the championship contest at Blanchard Woods Park. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
