Trojans Jump out to Early Lead, Take Down Lady Saints 6-3

MOUNT OLIVE, NC - The North Georgia women's tennis team fell 6-3 to Mount Olive on Tuesday afternoon at the John Neal Walker Tennis Center. 

The Lady Saints (5-2) dropped their second straight road match, while the Trojans (5-2) won their second straight home match.

The Trojans got off to a fast start taking two of the three singles. Nela Handac and Maria V Casseres Romero remained hot in doubles action as they won their fifth match of the season. 

In singles action, The Lady Saints faltered dropping the first four matches before Handac and Casseres won.

The Lady Saints return to the courts on Saturday, when they host Georgia Southwestern in their first Peach Belt Conference game of the season.
