Young Harris Blanks North Georgia in Non-Conference Action

YOUNG HARRIS, GA – The struggles continued for the North Georgia women's tennis team on Wednesday afternoon as they dropped their eighth straight match, falling 9-0 to Young Harris at the Young Harris Tennis Complex. 

The loss snaps a two-match winning streak against the Mountain Lions for the Lady Saints (5-9), while Young Harris (9-3) won their sixth straight match.

The Lady Saints were swept in doubles action for the second straight match. The duo of Audrey Marlette/Jordan Poole dropped a 9-7 heartbreaker at No.2 doubles. 

The Mountain Lions ran away with the match in singles play taking five of the six matches in straight sets.

The lady Saints return to action in a week, March 28, when they host Montevallo in Peach Belt Conference action. First serve is set for 3:00 pm.
