FLORENCE, SC – The woes continued for the North Georgia women's tennis team on Sunday as they dropped their seventh straight Peach Belt Conference match falling 8-1 to Francis Marion at the Kassab Courts.

After a hot 5-1 start the Lady Saints (7-16, 1-10 PBC) have lost 15 of their last 17 matches, while the Patriots (16-2, 10-2 PBC) wrapped up their regular season riding a four-match winning streak.

The Lady Saints were outmatched in doubles dropping all three of the matches. Nela Handac and Maria V Casseres Romero put up the toughest fight for North Georgia falling 8-5 at No. 3 doubles, while Natalia Escobar and Juliana Chiang fell 8-2 to the No .7 doubles duo in the nation.
