Scott Windom, Men's Basketball

Scott Windom has been named the Moe’s Southwest Grill North Georgia Athlete of the Week after averaging 19.0 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game as the Saints went 1-1 in Peach Belt Conference play.

The junior transfer from Cartersville, Georgia, continued to lead the Saints offensively, registering his fifth double-double of the year scoring 15 and grabbing 11 boards in 75-70 win over Armstrong.

Windom followed that up by scoring a game-high 23 points on 9-16 shooting from the field in a 66-60 loss against Flagler on Homecoming.

For the week Windom shot 14-30 from the floor (46 %) and 7-9 from the charity stripe.

Through January 30, Windom is fifth in the Peach Belt in scoring averaging 18.1 points per game and sixth in the conference in three-point shooting percentage (42.7%).

Windom and the rest of the Saints return to action on Wednesday, February 1, when they travel to Georgia Southwestern for the first of a two-game conference road trip.
