DAHLONEGA, GA
– Jordan Erisman has been named the Moe’s Southwest
Grill North Georgia Athlete of the Week after leading the Saints
down the stretch of the 2010 season the Sports Information Office
announced on Sunday evening.
The third baseman was named First-Team Peach Belt All-Conference
after leading the team with a .345 batting average and recording a
league leading six triples.
The Lawrenceville, Ga., native played and started in all 51 games
for the Saints and hit five home runs with 14 doubles, 46 runs
batted in, and 59 runs scored.
Erisman finished the year on a 21-game hitting streak, the longest
of his career, as the sophomore has now hit in consecutive games
dating back to a four-hit performance in the series finale against
Lander University on March 27, a streak that dates back 44 days. He
had a team-leading 23 multiple hit games on the year, and drove in
multiple runs 10 different times.
