DAHLONEGA, GA - Janyce Ealey has been named the
Moe’s Southwest Grill North Georgia Athlete of the Week after
averaging 21 points in two games last week as the freshman carried
the Lady Saints to a pair of victories in the Chick-fil-A
Thanksgiving Classic on her way to being named the
tournament’s most valuable player.
Ealey recorded 19 points on 4-6 shooting from long range in the
tournament opener against Kentucky Welseyan, before pouring in a

perfect 4-4 from the free throw line, while pulling down six
rebounds in the tournament finale.
The Carrollton, Ga., native is averaging 16 points through her
