Home to the North Georgia softball team, Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium was constructed during the fall of 2008 and features a first-class facility for the Nighthawks. With 222 chair back seats and a newly constructed terraced bank down the third base line, fans will enjoy a perfect venue for NCAA softball. The newly constructed “Hill Stadium” features three separate press boxes for media members that stretch 45 feet. “The Hill” was home to the 2009, 2010 and 2011 NCAA Southeast Regional and Super Regional with a record single-game attendance of 587. Home to the Nighthawks softball team for the last 10 seasons, the Softball Complex features one of the best facilities in all of NCAA Division II. In the spring of 2008, a state-of-the-art Daktronics scoreboard was placed in right-center which stretches 28 feet wide and 20 feet high and features LED lettering and a wireless transmitting device.
