Matt Daniel is in his fourth year at North Georgia and begins his first year as the Head Athletic Trainer in 2011-12.

After completing one year as a graduate assistant and assistant athletic trainer at Berry College, Daniel spent three years at North Georgia as an assistant professor and assistant athletic trainer before being named the Head Athletic Trainer in the summer of 2011.

His responsibilities include teaching Athletic Training classes in the Health and Physical Education Department while also covering men's basketball and cheerleading.

Daniel received his Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from NGCSU in 2005.  He also received his Master's Degree in Secondary Education in August 2007 from Berry College. 

Originally from Cherokee County, Georgia, Daniel now resides in Dawsonville with his wife Julia who is also a graduate of NGCSU.
