Jason Pruitt is in his fifth year in the North Georgia College & State University Athletic Department in 2011-12 and 19th year at the University.

He graduated from North Georgia in 1993 with a BS in Education and also earned a Masters degree in Education in 1998. He worked in Undergraduate Admissions from 1993-1997, then transferred to the Registrar's office, where he served as Associate Registrar from 1997-2001 and then University Registrar from 2001-2007.

He began working with athletics as a member of the compliance team in 2005. He then became Academic Advisor/Compliance Coordinator in 2007 and served in that role for two years, handling all compliance and advisement duties for the department of athletics. Since July 2009, Jason has been serving as Assistant Athletic Director for Business Affairs.

Jason lives in Gainesville, Ga., with his wife Kristen and children Matthew, Jordan, D'Angelo, Elijah and Chris.
