Steve Cunha is in his first year as Assistant Director in the North Georgia Sports Communications Office. Before coming to North Georgia, Cunha served as a student intern for the Salve Regina University Sports Information Office.

Cunha graduated from Salve Regina with a bachelor’s degree in English Communications with a minor in Sports Management. After graduating, Steve was the Sports department intern for the Newport Daily News.

His responsibilities include, game day preparations, maintaining the website, and assisting in day-to-day operations of department. Cunha will be the main contact for Men’s/Women's golf during the fall semester and men's and women's tennis during the spring semester.
