Hank Haynes is in his first year as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities at the University of North Georgia.
With multiple years of facility and turf experience, Haynes oversees Memorial Hall, direct game day ticketing and serves as the administrator for all home sporting events at North Georgia.
After graduating from the College of Agriculture & Environmental Sciences at University of Georgia with a degree in Turfgrass Management, Haynes was hired at UGA to help maintain the university’s athletic facilities. He maintained athletic fields, including overseed and fertilizer applications, troubleshooting problems areas and assisting in game day painting of the Sanford Stadium football field.
While working for the University of Georgia Athletic Association, he also coordinated game day preparation for softball, baseball and football as well as basketball and gymnastics in the Coliseum.
Following his career in Athens, Haynes spent two years at Sports Fields Unlimited where he purchased materials and was in charge of job bids and contracts. He also oversaw the installation and repair of irrigation systems, laser grade athletic fields, pitchers mounds and maintained sod.
He also spent time at Muddy H. Holsteins and oversaw the day-to-day operations of the dairy farm, worked in budget and purchasing and was in charge of the breeding program.
Haynes and his wife Lindsey reside in Clermont, Georgia.
