Vince Neal is in his second year as
a Graduate Assistant men’s soccer coach at North Georgia
College & State University in 2010-11.
Neal’s duties include handling the day-to-day operations of
the program, while working and training the goalkeepers. Neal
currently holds the United States Soccer Federation (National "D"
license).
He was a member of the North Georgia soccer team from 2004-2006,
and currently holds the program’s individual season record
for goals against average at 1.18, a mark set during his 2005
campaign.
Prior to playing at North Georgia, he was a member of the Clarke
Central High School soccer team, playing for current North Georgia
women’s soccer coach Chris Adams.
He led his 2002 high school team to the AAAA State Championship
game, while the goalkeeper received All-Northeast Georgia Honors in
2002 and 2003. Neal played one season at Francis Marion University
before transferring to play his final three collegiate seasons for
the Saints.
Neal graduated from North Georgia with a degree in Political
Science in 2008, and is currently pursuing his Master’s
degree in Public Administration.
