North Georgia to match up with USC Aiken in first round of regional

DAHLONEGA, GA - North Georgia College & State University moved up eleven spots this week to #14 in the 2008 Collegiate Baseball Magazine NCAA Division II Poll after winning the Peach Belt Conference Championship over the weekend.

In a season full of firsts, North Georgia will plow straight ahead as they make their NCAA Tournament debut. Already, the Saints appeared in and won their first PBC Tournament after the school reached full NCAA Division II status for the 2007-08 academic year.
