Andre Airich Named ABCA/Rawlings All-Region

DAHLONEGA, GA – North Georgia College & State University’s Andre Airich has been named to the second-team ABCA/Rawlings All-Southeast team at third base announced Thursday morning by the regional office.

The awards keep coming for Andre Airich who is named second-team ABCA/Rawlings All-Southeast Region after earning PBC First-Team All-Conference honors and being named to the 2009 Peach Belt Conference All-Tournament team. The junior hit .386 during the 2009 season with 10 home runs, 63 runs batted in, and 143 total bases.

Airich ranks in the top 10 in the Peach Belt Conference in hits, runs scored, runs batted in, total bases, doubles, and slugging percentage. Airich led the conference with 20 doubles as he started all 58 games for the Saints. The Roswell, Ga., native had 15 games with three hits or more and had 28 multiple hit games and 17 multiple RBI games.
