Erisman Snags PBC Freshman of the Week Honors
AUGUSTA, GA – Jordan Erisman has been
named the Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the week after showing
he belongs with the elite hitters in the league, going 11-15 at the
plate in four games against ranked teams.
Jordan Erisman hit .733 last week, going 11-15 in four games
against ranked teams. The freshman started with a 5-5 performance
against 30th-ranked Montevallo, scoring four runs and driving in
one against the Falcons.
Erisman then had two hits in each of the three games over the
weekend against 19th-ranked Lander University, including two of
three runs scored in the series finale to lead the Saints to a 3-2
victory over the Bearcats. He is hitting .460 on the year, which
ranks sixth in the PBC.
The freshman from Lawrenceville, Ga., has started all 16 games for
the now 6th-ranked Saints according to the latest Collegiate
Baseball Magazine Division II Top 30. Erisman has started four
different positions in the field for North Georgia and has
committed just one error for a .980 fielding percentage.
