2007 (As a (RS) Freshman) –Redshirted at the University of Mississippi.

High School – Played four years at The Lovett School under head coach Lance Dubs...hit .320 for his career with 10 home runs, 65 RBI, 25 doubles, four triples and 60 runs scored...made 36 appearances on the mound, posting a 24-8 record with a 1.60 ERA with 233 strikeouts and 81 walks in 175.0 IP...helped lead The Lovett School to the 2006 Georgia Class 2A State Championship and a 30-7 record...named 2005 Team MVP...Named 2005 Pitcher of the Year by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution...named to the Atlanta Braves 755 Club Metro All-Star Team...named to the Georgia Dugout Club All-Tournament Team...named first team All-Area.
