Previous School – Played his 2008-09 season under head coach Mike Kandler at Gulf Coast Community College where he played in 19 games…hit for a .156 average.

High School – Played baseball for head coach Rick Howard at Brookwood High School...named Region 8-5A Player of the year as a junior…member of the Gwinnett All-County 1st team as a junior and senior…member of the 5A state championship team as a senior.

Personal – Son of Bonnie and Tom Adkins….has one brother, Wes who played college baseball…majoring in Business.
