Previous School – Played two seasons under head coach Craig Gibson at Mercer University…redshirted in 2008…named to 2008 Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team.

High School – Played baseball for head coach Jim Cahill at North Forsyth High School…helped Raiders advance to class 5A elite eight as a sophomore and senior and to the state playoffs as a junior…recipient of the Raider Award.

Personal – Son of Maria and Gary McGilvray…has a brother and sister, Taylor and Sarah…father played college football…majoring in Business.
