Previous School – Played two seasons under Coach Travis McClanahan at Gordon Junior College where he started all 52 games in the 2008-2009 season and had team highs in hits, doubles and RBIs…hit for a .383 average with 75 hits in 196 at-bats…scored 50 runs and connected for 20 doubles…drove in 52 RBIs…member of the All-Conference Second Team in 2008 and 2009.

High School – Played baseball for head coach Steven Phillips at Dutchtown High School…named All-State Best Offensive Player in 2005…recipient of Defensive and Offensive MVP in 2007.

Personal – Son of Susan and Lawrence Pope…has sister and brother, Meghann and
Jake…majoring in Physical Education.
