DAHLONEGA, GA – North Georgia College & State
University head baseball coach Tom Cantrell has announced a pair of
game changes to the 2010 schedule, released this afternoon from the
sports information office.
The Saint will now host Bellarmine University for a four-game home
stand the third week in February, a series that was originally
scheduled to be a three-game set. The Saints will oppose the
Knights in a single game Friday afternoon, and a doubleheader
Saturday before closing out the series Sunday afternoon at 1:00
p.m.
The additional game with Bellarmine University replaces a cancelled
game with North Greenville originally scheduled for April 20th.
North Georgia’s 50-game slate opens February 5th, hosting
Pfeiffer University for a three-game weekend series, while the
regular season will wrap up in St. Augustine, Florida, taking on
Flagler College for a trio of games.
Head coach Tom Cantrell enters his 11th season at the helm of the
Saints in 2010, posting an overall record of 407-219 during is
tenure at North Georgia.
