Baseball Alters Schedule for Season-Opening Series

DAHLONEGA, GA – Due to inclement weather expected to arrive in the area on Friday, the North Georgia baseball team's season-opening weekend series against Mars Hill has been altered.
Head coach Tom Cantrell announced on Thursday afternoon that the Saints will opposed Mars Hill in a single game on Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m., followed by doubleheader on Sunday. Game one is slated for 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, immediately followed by the weekend finale at 3:00 p.m.
Blake Hobby will be on the mound on Saturday afternoon for Opening Day 2011 as the Saints look to get off to a fast start with nine straight home games to open the year.
