2011 (Freshman) – Made ten appearances from the Saints’ bullpen where he did not record a decision…Posted a 9.28 ERA as opponents hit .220 against him with five walks and 4 strikeouts…Did not give up a home run all season while only allowing two extra base hits.

High School – Played baseball for head coach Bryon Orr at West Forsyth High School…received Golden Glove award in 2007…named First-Team All-Region for football in 2009, played in Rotary All-Star Football game…Region Scholar Athlete in 2009.

Personal – Born December 12, 1991 in Gainesville, Ga…son of Vince and Donna Patten…has two siblings, Clara, Sarah…majoring in Pre-Engineering.
