Weekend Schedule Changes on Tap for North Georgia Athletics

DAHLONEGA, GA – With heavy rain expected to hit the North Georgia area this weekend, the Department of Athletics has made multiple changes to schedules for baseball, softball and tennis.
With softball in Decatur, Alabama, for the Ringer UAH Charger Chillout, tournament officials have decided to move all Friday games up two hours in an attempt to get all of the scheduled games in. The Saints will now play at Barry 11:30 AM EST and Missouri-St. Louis 3:30 PM EST on Saturday.
Baseball's weekend series with Northern Kentucky as also been altered, as Saturday's doubleheader has been moved up three hours and is slated to start at 10:00 a.m. with game two of the double dip set for approximately 1:30 p.m. The two clubs close the weekend series on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Bob Stein Stadium.
North Georgia men's and women's tennis are slated to play their home opener on Saturday, but will get started earlier than expected with a 9:00 a.m. first serve at the North Georgia Tennis Complex.
