DAHLONEGA, GA – Due to expected precipitation in the Florence, South Carolina, area on Saturday, this weekend's Peach Belt Conference baseball series has been pushed back to a Sunday afternoon start.

The three-game series will now consist of a doubleheader on Sunday (March 4) at 1:00 p.m. on FMU's Cormell Field and a single game on Monday (March 5) at 1:00 p.m. General admission each day is $8 for adults and $5 for students

The 30th-ranked Patriots are 10-7 overall and 2-4 in the PBC after being swept over the weekend by the University of Montevallo. Francis Marion then hosted St. Augustine and spanked the Falcons in a pair of 7-inning games, outscoring their opponent 19-1.

North Georgia (9-3, 2-1 PBC) is surging as of late, having won eight of their last nine games, including a weekend series victory over then 9th-ranked UNC Pembroke to open league play.

The Saints will be looking to stay hot when they travel to take on the Patriots, a team that was preseason No. 1 in the country and picked to win the Peach Belt Conference regular season championship.

North Georgia jumped 13 spots in the latest Collegiate Baseball Division II Top 30 Poll and are now ranked No. 13 in the country. The Saints are in the middle of playing six straight games against teams ranked in the nation's top 30.
