Lassiter High School: Played baseball for head coaches Mickey McMurtry and Scott Kelly ... Gordon was named an Honorable Mention All-County selection  in 2008 ... He received the team's Golden Glove honor in 2009 ... Was named Honorable Mention All-County in 2010, Second Team All-Region and was a member of the 2010 AAAAA State Runner-up team.
