Peach Belt Conference to Hold Design Contest for Next Championship T-Shirt
AUGUSTA, Ga. – Following the success of last year's
contest, the Peach Belt Conference is looking for a new design to
grace the t-shirts worn by all 2013-14 conference regular season
and tournament champions and is returning to the students and
faculty of its member institutions. Any student currently enrolled
or faculty member at a PBC member institution is allowed to submit
one entry by e-mail to the conference office no later than March 1,
2013.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for our students, faculty and staff to represent our university and demonstrate some of our many talents to the rest of the conference," said Director of Athletics Lindsay Reeves.
The prize for winning the contest will include a $100 honorarium.
All University of North Georgia students and faculty are encouraged to participate in the contest as all submitted 2013-14 PBC championship t-shirt designs will be voted on by each PBC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in the spring semester and will be on display during the PBC Art Show at the 2013 Basketball Championship in Columbus, Ga.
Entry designs must work on a white t-shirt and include:
- PBC logo in primary colors.
- Phrases "Regular Season Champions" or "Tournament Champions" and "2013-14."
- No more than three ink colors.
To submit a design, send a color .JPEG or PDF of the design via e-mail to: Ken Gerlinger, Assistant Commissioner (kgerlinger@peachbeltconference.org) with the subject line "PBC T-Shirt Entry." Be sure to include your name, classification, major, school and e-mail address as a confirmation e-mail will be sent.
