"White Out" Wednesday for Staff Appreciation Night

DAHLONEGA, GA – North Georgia College & State University is asking you the fans to support the Saints and Lady Saints on Wednesday, February 10, by “whiting out” Memorial Hall as Francis Marion comes to town for a crucial Peach Belt Conference doubleheader event.

The North Georgia Student Government Association will be passing out FREE “white-out” t-shirts to the first 100 students at both the men’s and women’s games.

Wednesday evening will also serve as North Georgia Faculty-Staff Appreciation Night, so come out and wear white as the Lady Saints tip-off at 5:30 p.m. against 15th-ranked Francis Marion, followed by the men’s game set to start at 5:30 p.m.

There will be reserved seating for faculty and staff and this group will be recognized during halftime of the women’s game.  Please attend so we can publicly thank you for all you do for the university and for our student-athletes.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee will also have a display highlighting their Make-A-Wish recipient from last year.  Please consider making a donation to our Make-A-Wish campaign for the 2009-10 academic year to help our student-athletes who have been working hard to raise funds for this Division II initiative.
