AUGUSTA, GA – Scott Windom has been named to the men's basketball Peach Belt All-Conference Third-Team, as announced by the conference office earlier this afternoon.
Windom led the team in scoring this season averaging 17.3 points per game, finishing in the top 10 of the PBC.
The junior from Cartersville, Georgia, led the team in rebounding, pulling down 6.4 rebounds per game. Windom also converted 50 three-point attempts, the most on the team.
Head coach Chris Faulkner will be happy to know that he has Windom for another year, as he will return for his senior campaign next season.
The forward finished in double figures in 23 of his 25 games played this season, including a career-high 35 points against Columbus State on Spirit Night.
Six double-doubles highlighted Windom's season as he led North Georgia for much of the 2011-12 season.
The Saints will graduate a couple of key players, including three who started the majority of the season. With Windom returning, along with freshman point guard Travis Core, North Georgia will have a lot to build on with those two back on the lineup.
