Ryan Chastain is in his second season as an assistant coach for the North Georgia College & State University men's basketball team in 2010-11, and his fourth year overall with the athletic department.

Chastain attended Fannin County High School in Blue Ridge, Ga and was the Lumpkin County boys junior varsity coach and varsity assistant for two years under Shane Purdy.
