CLARKESVILLE, GA
– The North Georgia men’s golf team completed the first
round of the 4th Annual Piedmont College Spring Invitational at The
Orchard Golf & Country Club on Monday afternoon, firing a
19-over-par 307 to hold the clubhouse lead at the midway point.
Freshman Ben Jarrard had the round of the day, shooting his lowest
collegiate round of 73 to hold a one-shot lead over teammate Bryson
Womack who notched a two-over-par 74.
Brian Mallory was third on the team with a 79, while Jake Martin
and Stanley Roberts recorded rounds of 81 and 82 respectively to
give the Saints a two-shot team lead over ABAC.
The final round of the 4th Annual Piedmont College Spring
Invitational at The Orchard Golf & Country Club is set for
Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
