Tanaskovic Snags PBC Goalkeeper Award

Saints Sweep All Three Weekly Awards

Augusta, GA - North Georgia College & State University's Rade Tanaskovic has been named the Peach Belt Conference Goalkeeper of the Week announced this afternoon by the conference office.

Freshman Rade Tanaskovic recorded two shutouts in goal over the weekend, sending the Saints to a pair of 1-0 victories at the Laker Shootout.  He faced 19 shots against Anderson University, recording four saves in each half for a season best eight saves. In another 1-0 shutout, this time against Belmont Abbey, Tanaskovic tallied two more saves and held the opponent scoreless to improve to 3-1 as a collegiate.

He is currently third in the PBC with a goals against average of 0.75, and tied for first in saves and shutouts.
