AUGUSTA, GA -- The Peach Belt Conference released the men's soccer All-Academic team from the conference office in Augusta on Wednesday afternoon and Mikki Bozickovic was honored as one of 16 individuals on the team.
The team is part of a season-long program recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of PBC student-athletes in the classroom as well as on the field.
To be eligible for the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must 1) participate in at least half of his/her team's events and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and 3) completed at least one full academic year at his or her current institution. The Peach Belt Conference Sports Information Directors oversee and select the teams.
Bozickovic played in 17 games for the Saints in 2010, scoring one goal and adding three assists for five total points. The Visoko, Bosnia, native scored the game-winner in double overtime against Lees-McRae, recording a goal in the 106th minute for his lone score of the season. He has tallied 581 minutes of playing time, and tallied a pair of assists against Belmont Abbey, while also picking up an assist against nationally ranked Montevallo.
