ROME, GA – The North Georgia College
& State University men’s tennis team dropped all six
singles matches Tuesday afternoon as the Berry College Vikings
defeated the Saints 8-1 at the Richards Tennis Complex in
non-conference action.
The Saints fall to 5-13 in the regular season finale, while Berry
College improves to a match over .500 at 5-4 on the season.
North Georgia returns to action in the 2009 Peach Belt Conference
Tournament, traveling to Jonesboro, Ga., to take on the Hurricanes
of Georgia Southwestern. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at
the Clayton County Tennis Center for the first-round match-up.
