AMERICUS, GA – The North Georgia College
& State University men’s tennis team took two of three
doubles matches on their way to a 5-4 win over Georgia Southwestern
Tuesday afternoon in Peach Belt Conference action.
The Saints continue a streak that has seen them win four of their
last five matches as they improve to 5-9 overall and 1-4 in the
PBC, while the Hurricanes fall to 4-12 overall and 0-7 in the
league.
North Georgia followed a pair of victories in doubles play with
three wins in singles matches to seal the victory.
The Saints return to action at home, hosting Georgia College &
State University on April 10, with first serve set for 2:30 p.m.
