No. 8 Columbus State Cruises Past North Georgia
DAHLONEGA, GA
– The North Georgia men’s tennis team hosted the No. 8
team in the country and fell 9-0 on Sunday afternoon as Columbus
State University came to town and blanked the Saints in Peach Belt
Conference action.
The Saints fall to 1-7 overall on the season, and 1-2 in Peach Belt
Conference action, while the Cougars, who came into the day ranked
No. 8 in the country and No. 2 in the latest Southeast Region poll
improve to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in league action.
North Georgia returns to action on Saturday, March 13, traveling to
North Carolina to take on UNC Asheville in a non-conference
matchup. Start time is slated for 11:00 a.m.
