HILTON HEAD, SC – The North Georgia
men’s tennis dropped their final match of their three-match
swing in South Carolina on Wednesday morning, falling 5-1 to
Division I Bucknell University in non-conference action.
The Saints forced four tie breakers, but Adrien Saulais picked-up
the Saints only point at the number five singles in a 10-point tie
breaker over Bison Gregory Maxson.
The Saints dropped all three matches for the week, falling to 1-10
overall on the season, while the Bucknell Bison win their second
match of the season, improving to 2-8 on the year.
North Georgia returns to action on Saturday afternoon, playing host
to the Pacers of USC Aiken with first serve set for 2:30 p.m. in
Dahlonega. The Saints will then turn around on Sunday and welcome
in-state rival Augusta State to town for another PBC matchup. Start
time for Sunday’s battle is tabbed for 1:00 p.m.
