Thunderstorms Force Softball Schedule Changes
DAHLONEGA, GA – The North Georgia College
& State University team has altered a pair of weekend
doubleheaders due to heavy thunderstorms moving through the
southeast.
The Saints will now travel to Georgia Southwestern on Saturday
afternoon for a doubleheader with the Hurricanes scheduled to start
at 3:00 p.m. North Georgia will then put a lid on the regular
season Monday afternoon with two games against the Bobcats of
Georgia College & State University.
North Georgia enters the weekend with a magic number of two to
claim the 2009 Peach Belt Conference regular season championship.
The Saints are 35-3 overall and 13-1 in the Peach Belt Conference
while sitting at #3 in the latest NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll.
