DAHLONEGA, GA
– More cancellations are on the way for the North Georgia
softball team as Monday’s scheduled doubleheader at Mars Hill
College has been postponed with a make up date to be announced at a
later date.
This marks six straight games that have been cancelled due to
inclement weather after the Captain D’s Classic was
cancelled, a two-day tournament that would have given the Saints
games against Northern Kentucky, Delta State, and 7th-ranked
Valdosta State.
North Georgia returns to action next weekend, traveling to Decatur,
Alabama, for six games at the UAH Charger Chillout. The Saints will
take on 5th-ranked Indianapolis and 20th-ranked Wayne State as part
of the six-game slate that includes two games on Friday, Saturday,
and Sunday.
